4 eggs
dash of cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
2 1/2 cups milk
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla (optional 1 1/2 cups fresh peach slices)
1. Beat eggs while slowly adding all ingredients except peaches.
2. Pour into ovenproof custard cups and place them in a deep baking pan. Fill the pan with hot water about 1/2 ways up the sides of the cups.
3. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 40-50 min. Add optional peaches after 20 min. if desired.
4. Remove cups from pan and cool. Then thoroughly chill before serving.
