In a pan bring to a boil the cranberries, maple syrup and water; simmer for 5 minutes and cool; set aside. |

Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a food processor or electric mixer, blend the eggs, milk, cream cheese, maple syrup and vanilla essence; turn into a bowl. |

With a spatula, mix in the cranberries, ground almonds and oatmeal. Turn into a greased gratin or baking dish and bake for about 45 minutes. Serve hot or cold. |
