Preheat the oven to 275°F. |

In a pan, bring the butter, maple syrup and the baking powder to a boil; stir well. |

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the shredded coconut, wheat flakes and flour. |

Place large spoonful of the batter on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. |
