1 cup 35% cream
1/4 cup maple butter
1 tsp. cornstarch
4 crumpets
Your choice of fruit
Fresh mint leaves for the garnish
1. In a small pan bring the cream to a boil. Add maple butter and the cornstarch. Continue to cook over low heat until the sauce thickens; keep hot.
2. Toast the crumpets in a toaster on under the broiler, top with fruit and pour the maple sauce over; garnish with the mint leaves.
