1 1/2 cups beef stock
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tbsp. butter
12 to 16 lamb chops
2 tbsp. flour
salt and pepper to taste
1. In a pan, bring to a boil the beef stock, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and ketchup; stir well and remove from the heat.
2. In a large ovenproof skillet, heat the butter and brown the floured lamb chops for 1 to 2 minutes on each side; season.
3. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Pour the sauce over the chops and bake for 30 minutes to 1 hour (add water to the skillet during the cooking if necessary).
